Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2016 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European & Orientalist Art, which included the work The dispatches of the day by Clément Pujol de Guastavino. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 55,000.00 (€ 65,351.90). Other works by Clément Pujol de Guastavino have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 157,000.00 (€ 100,847.89) in April 2008 for the work Spanish An Audience Before The Emir.
