The work Upcast by Clement Meadmore was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2021. It achieved a price of USD 9,450.00 (€ 8,180.40), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Clement Meadmore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Upcast in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 134,500.00 (€ 95,518.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Upcast von Clement Meadmore kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 9.450,00 (€ 8.180,40) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Clement Meadmore erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Upcast im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 134.500,00 (€ 95.518,78).
