Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Claus Goedicke could be acquired at Phillips in New York in December 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Saturday@Phillips auction, the work F-1 changed hands for USD 600.00 (€ 454.65) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Claus Goedicke have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Serie von 16 C-Prints. in July 2020 with an auction result of EUR 2,684.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Claus Goedicke konnte im Dezember 2006 bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Saturday@Phillips wechselte die Arbeit F-1 für USD 600,00 (€ 454,65) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Claus Goedicke auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Serie von 16 C-Prints. im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.684,00.
