Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Welsh Landscape with Approaching Rain by Claude Grahame Muncaster was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2002. The price achieved of GBP 587.50 (€ 908.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Claude Grahame Muncaster - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Off Trinidad, which sold at auction in February 2019 for GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,333.07).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 587,50 (€ 908,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden.
