Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 646.25 (€ 1,052.37) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Claude Grahame Muncaster - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Off Trinidad, which sold at auction in February 2019 for GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,333.07).

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 646,25 (€ 1.052,37) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
