Upper estimate price exceeded by 61 %.
In March last year Sothebys in Paris held the auction Living Contemporary, which included the work Daft Punk, Paris by Claude Gassian. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,032.00 61% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Claude Gassian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Freddie Mercury, Paris 1984, which sold at auction in March 2021 for EUR 11,970.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 61 % übertroffen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Living Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Daft Punk, Paris von Claude Gassian zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.032,00 und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Claude Gassian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Freddie Mercury, Paris 1984 beobachtet, die im März 2021 für EUR 11.970,00 versteigert wurde.
