Die Arbeit Speed (Coppel Cf 7) von Claude Flight kam im September 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.690,26) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Claude Flight auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Swimming: The Start of the Race im Januar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 131.250,00 (€ 156.120,41).
