In the The Age of SpeedThe Grosvenor School and the Avant-garde auction, the work Speed sold for GBP 21,760.00 (€ 25,066.69) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Claude Flight have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Swimming: The Start of the Race in January 2020 with an auction result of GBP 131,250.00 (€ 156,120.41).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Claude Flight erzielte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Age of SpeedThe Grosvenor School and the Avant-garde wurde die Arbeit Speed für GBP 21.760,00 (€ 25.066,69) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Claude Flight auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Swimming: The Start of the Race im Januar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 131.250,00 (€ 156.120,41).
