Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Entre Nous, 1926 by Claude Cahun was auctioned at Christies in Paris in November 2005. The price achieved of EUR 4,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Claude Cahun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Self-Observation, Aveux non avenus (planche I), 1929-1930 in October 2017 with an auction result of EUR 223,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Entre Nous, 1926 von Claude Cahun kam im November 2005 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Claude Cahun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Self-Observation, Aveux non avenus (planche I), 1929-1930 im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 223.500,00.
