In October 2015 Christies in London held the auction A Visual Odyssey Selections from LAC (Lambert Art Collection) Staged by Jacques Grange, which included the work Untitled (Interior with Girl, Bear and Banjo) by Clare Rojas. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,500.00 (€ 2,098.13), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Clare Rojas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Log Flyers, which sold at auction in December 2019 for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,566.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion A Visual Odyssey Selections from LAC (Lambert Art Collection) Staged by Jacques Grange durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Interior with Girl, Bear and Banjo) von Clare Rojas zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 2.098,13) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Clare Rojas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Log Flyers beobachtet, die im Dezember 2019 für USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.566,94) versteigert wurde.
