This work without title by Clare Rojas was auctioned at Sothebys in London in August 2019. The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,660.66), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Clare Rojas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Log Flyers, which sold at auction in December 2019 for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,566.94).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Clare Rojas kam im August 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.660,66) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Clare Rojas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Log Flyers beobachtet, die im Dezember 2019 für USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.566,94) versteigert wurde.
