It achieved a price of GBP 6,930.00 (€ 8,140.96), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. Admittedly, works by Claes Moeyaert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The worship of the Golden Calf in July 2010 with an auction result of GBP 49,250.00 (€ 59,217.58).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.930,00 (€ 8.140,96) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Claes Moeyaert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The worship of the Golden Calf im Juli 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 49.250,00 (€ 59.217,58).
