The work Sans Titre by Cícero Dias was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in July 2008. The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 9,622.17) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cícero Dias achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Difícil Partida in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 262,000.00 (€ 248,059.08).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Sans Titre von Cícero Dias kam im Juli 2008 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 9.622,17) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cícero Dias erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Difícil Partida im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 262.000,00 (€ 248.059,08).
