Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Cabra cega by Cícero Dias was sold in the Latin America auction at Phillips in New York in May 2014. It achieved a price of USD 81,250.00 (€ 59,567.45), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Admittedly, works by Cícero Dias have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Difícil Partida in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 262,000.00 (€ 248,059.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Cabra cega von Cícero Dias wurde im Mai 2014 in der Auktion Latin America bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 59.567,45) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cícero Dias auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Difícil Partida im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 262.000,00 (€ 248.059,08).
