A top price for Chu Weibor
In May 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Evening Sale), which included the work Eminence by Chu Weibor. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 812,500.00 (€ 92,990.40), 48% above the upper estimate. With this result, Eminence is even the most expensive work of art by Chu Weibor that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Chu Weibor
Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Evening Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Eminence von Chu Weibor zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 92.990,40) und damit 48% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Eminence sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Chu Weibor, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
