Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2012 Sothebys in Toronto held the auction Important Canadian Art, which included the work Lighthouse Door by Christopher Pratt. Here, the upper estimate of CAD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for CAD 68,625.00 (€ 53,627.85). Other works by Christopher Pratt have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of CAD 140,500.00 (€ 100,879.31) in May 2011 for the work French Door.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2012 führte Sothebys in Toronto die Auktion Important Canadian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lighthouse Door von Christopher Pratt zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von CAD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für CAD 68.625,00 (€ 53.627,85) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Christopher Pratt haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von CAD 140.500,00 (€ 100.879,31) im Mai 2011 für die Arbeit French Door beobachtet.
