This artwork by Christopher Pratt achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Toronto in May 2011. In the Important Canadian Art auction, the work French Door sold for CAD 140,500.00 (€ 100,879.31) - well above the upper estimate of CAD 80,000.00. This high result makes French Door the most expensive artwork by Christopher Pratt that we have observed at auctions so far.
