Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Made in Britain, which included the work Wagner by Christopher Le Brun. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,386.65) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,800.00 – 2,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christopher Le Brun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Union (Horse with Two Discs) in June this year with an auction result of GBP 163,800.00 (€ 190,635.00).
