Upper estimate price exceeded by 39 %.
The work Three Actors with the Blood 01 & 02 by Christine Ay Tjoe was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 693,000.00 (€ 77,086.65), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christine Ay Tjoe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Layer As A Hiding Place in May last year with an auction result of HKD 13,050,000.00 (€ 1,549,315.07).

Die Arbeit Three Actors with the Blood 01 & 02 von Christine Ay Tjoe kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 693.000,00 (€ 77.086,65) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christine Ay Tjoe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Layer As A Hiding Place im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 13.050.000,00 (€ 1.549.315,07).
