Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Part I, which included the work Portrait Of A Lady And Gentleman, Circa 1725 by Christian Friedrich Zincke. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 5,848.97). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Friedrich Zincke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Four important enamel miniatures set in a Fine George II Enamel and Gold Portrait Box with hinged lid and base, the concave sides chased with reeded c-scrolls and shellwork on a frosted gold ground and enamelled en basse-taille with leaves in translu in April 2002 with an auction result of GBP 56,400.00 (
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Part I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady And Gentleman, Circa 1725 von Christian Friedrich Zincke zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 5.848,97) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Friedrich Zincke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Four important enamel miniatures set in a Fine George II Enamel and Gold Portrait Box with hinged lid and base, the concave sides chased with reeded c-scrolls and shellwork on a frosted gold ground and enamelled en basse-taille with leaves in translu im April 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.400,00 (€ 91.253,72).
