This artwork by Chris Vasell achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in August 2018. In the Horizon | Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for USD 625.00 (€ 538.98) - well above the upper estimate of USD 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chris Vasell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Urine Burn (Burned Mind) in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 23,300.00 (€ 29,704.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Chris Vasell erzielte im August 2018 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Horizon | Post-War and Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 625,00 (€ 538,98) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 300,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chris Vasell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Urine Burn (Burned Mind) im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.300,00 (€ 29.704,21).
