Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Still life with fish and an apple by Chris van der Windt was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2007. It achieved a price of EUR 1,920.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20 %. Admittedly, works by Chris van der Windt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A stilllife with Chinese porcelain in September 2002 with an auction result of EUR 8,365.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Still life with fish and an apple von Chris van der Windt kam im Januar 2007 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.920,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chris van der Windt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A stilllife with Chinese porcelain im September 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.365,00.
