Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Avondstemming: A polder landscape by Chris van der Windt was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2002. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,346.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chris van der Windt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A stilllife with Chinese porcelain, which sold at auction in September 2002 for EUR 8,365.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Avondstemming: A polder landscape von Chris van der Windt kam im Juni 2002 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.346,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Chris van der Windt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A stilllife with Chinese porcelain beobachtet, die im September 2002 für EUR 8.365,00 versteigert wurde.
