In October 2003 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART, which included the work A wine bottle, oysters and fruit on a draped table by Chris van der Windt. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,572.50 31% above the upper estimate. Other works by Chris van der Windt have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 8,365.00 in September 2002 for the work A stilllife with Chinese porcelain.

Im Oktober 2003 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit A wine bottle, oysters and fruit on a draped table von Chris van der Windt zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.572,50 und damit 31% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
