This artwork by Chris Huen Sin Kan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in Hong Kong in November 2021. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in Association with Poly Auction auction, the work Dog Allowed sold for HKD 1,260,000.00 (€ 140,099.23) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Chris Huen Sin Kan; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot b. 1991 sold at auction in April last year with the realized price of HKD 1,890,000.00 (€ 228,514.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Chris Huen Sin Kan erzielte im November 2021 bei Phillips in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in Association with Poly Auction wurde die Arbeit Dog Allowed für HKD 1.260.000,00 (€ 140.099,23) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 500.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Chris Huen Sin Kan; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit b. 1991 im April letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 1.890.000,00 (€ 228.514,76).
