Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Balltsz and Joel by Chris Huen Sin Kan was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 277,200.00 (€ 33,515.50) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chris Huen Sin Kan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work b. 1991 in April last year with an auction result of HKD 1,890,000.00 (€ 228,514.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Balltsz and Joel von Chris Huen Sin Kan kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 277.200,00 (€ 33.515,50) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chris Huen Sin Kan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit b. 1991 im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.890.000,00 (€ 228.514,76).
