Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2012 Phillips in New York held the auction Under the Influence, which included the work Forever and Ever (Embrace) by Chris Bracey. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,374.53) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chris Bracey - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work God Save the Queen, which sold at auction in February 2011 for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 25,030.72).
