Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Warlords, "You Can'T Survive Without Brothers In These Days" by Chow Chun Fai was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. The price achieved of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 7,328.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 45,000.00 – 75,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chow Chun Fai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bodyguards And Assassins (Quadriptych) in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 30,267.00).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 7.328,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 45.000,00 – 75.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chow Chun Fai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bodyguards And Assassins (Quadriptych) im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 30.267,00).
