Auction result well in line with expectations
The work ALL FOR THE WINNER, "YOU USE RMB IN A VENDING MACHINE IN HONG KONG? ARE YOU CRAZY?" by Chow Chun Fai was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2016. It changed hands for a price of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 16,755.29) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 140,000.00. Other works by Chow Chun Fai have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2017 the work Bodyguards And Assassins (Quadriptych) was auctioned for HKD 275,000.00 (€ 30,267.00).
