Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2011 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included this untitled work by Chimei Hamada. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of USD 875.00 (€ 616.94) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Chimei Hamada have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2010 the work A Collection was auctioned for GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,160.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2011 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Chimei Hamada zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 875,00 (€ 616,94) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Chimei Hamada konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2010 die Arbeit A Collection für GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.160,00) versteigert.
