Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2011 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Untitled (the meeting) by Chimei Hamada. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,187.50 (€ 837.27) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Other works by Chimei Hamada have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2010 the work A Collection was auctioned for GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,160.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2011 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (the meeting) von Chimei Hamada zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.187,50 (€ 837,27) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Andere Arbeiten von Chimei Hamada konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2010 die Arbeit A Collection für GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.160,00) versteigert.
