Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Tin Mine by Chia Yu Chian was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 22,765.82). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chia Yu Chian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work By The River, which sold at auction in November 2015 for HKD 687,500.00 (€ 83,968.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Tin Mine von Chia Yu Chian kam im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 22.765,82) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Chia Yu Chian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit By The River beobachtet, die im November 2015 für HKD 687.500,00 (€ 83.968,47) versteigert wurde.
