In March 2017 Christies in London held the auction Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art, Maritime Art, Sporting & Wildlife Art, which included the work The Kaiser's yacht Hohenzollern at anchor by Eduardo Frederico de Martino. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,127.07), 46% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Eduardo Frederico de Martino have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'Entente Cordiale: The Royal Yacht Victoria & Albert III reviewing the Anglo-French fleet in Cowes Road, 1905 in December 2018 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 41,778.33).

Im März 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art, Maritime Art, Sporting & Wildlife Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Kaiser's yacht Hohenzollern at anchor von Eduardo Frederico de Martino zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.127,07) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eduardo Frederico de Martino auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'Entente Cordiale: The Royal Yacht Victoria & Albert III reviewing the Anglo-French fleet in Cowes Road, 1905 im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 41.778,33).
