Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bird On Branch by Cheng Zhang was sold in the Delightful Pleasure-Chinese Painting and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Hong Kong in May 2015. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 10,620.00 (€ 1,246.12). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cheng Zhang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Squirrels And Grapes in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 26,073.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bird On Branch von Cheng Zhang wurde im Mai 2015 in der Auktion Delightful Pleasure-Chinese Painting and Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 10.620,00 (€ 1.246,12) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cheng Zhang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Squirrels And Grapes im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 26.073,06).
