Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In August this year Bonhams in Sydney held the auction Asian Art including Paintings from the Wong Family Collection, which included the work Autumn Scenery by Cheng Zhang. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 3,690.00 (€ 2,201.95), 23% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cheng Zhang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Squirrels And Grapes in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 26,073.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im August diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Sydney die Auktion Asian Art including Paintings from the Wong Family Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Autumn Scenery von Cheng Zhang zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 3.690,00 (€ 2.201,95) und damit 23% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cheng Zhang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Squirrels And Grapes im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 26.073,06).
