Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Trees and Rock by Cheng Sui was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. The price achieved of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 16,434.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 200,000.00. Other works by Cheng Sui have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2007 the work River Landscape was auctioned for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 17,503.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Trees and Rock von Cheng Sui kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 16.434,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Cheng Sui konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2007 die Arbeit River Landscape für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 17.503,23) versteigert.
