Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2021 Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Two Partridges And Pear Bloossoms by Chen Zhifo. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 190,000.00 (€ 20,638.93). Admittedly, works by Chen Zhifo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Eagle on White Prunus in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,950,000.00 (€ 193,378.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2021 führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Partridges And Pear Bloossoms von Chen Zhifo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 190.000,00 (€ 20.638,93) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Zhifo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Eagle on White Prunus im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.950.000,00 (€ 193.378,50).
