Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2021 Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Chrysanthemum and Birds by Chen Zhifo. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 51,000.00 (€ 5,436.12). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Zhifo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eagle on White Prunus in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,950,000.00 (€ 193,378.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2021 führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chrysanthemum and Birds von Chen Zhifo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 51.000,00 (€ 5.436,12) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Zhifo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eagle on White Prunus im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.950.000,00 (€ 193.378,50).
