Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Birds Chirping by Chen Zhifo was auctioned at POLY in October 2019. The price achieved of HKD 94,400.00 (€ 10,789.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Zhifo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eagle on White Prunus in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,950,000.00 (€ 193,378.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Birds Chirping von Chen Zhifo kam im Oktober 2019 bei POLY zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 94.400,00 (€ 10.789,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Zhifo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eagle on White Prunus im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.950.000,00 (€ 193.378,50).
