The work Poem In Kaishu by Chen Zengshou was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 40,000.00 (€ 3,795.79), 33% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Zengshou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,120,000.00 (€ 249,480.02).

Die Arbeit Poem In Kaishu von Chen Zengshou wurde im Oktober 2013 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 3.795,79) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Zengshou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.120.000,00 (€ 249.480,02).
