Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu by Chen Zengshou was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,691.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Zengshou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,120,000.00 (€ 249,480.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu von Chen Zengshou kam im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.691,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Zengshou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.120.000,00 (€ 249.480,02).
