Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Chen Zengshou achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2018. In the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Landscape After Qiandu sold for HKD 212,400.00 (€ 23,916.55) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Zengshou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,120,000.00 (€ 249,480.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Chen Zengshou erzielte im Oktober 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Landscape After Qiandu für HKD 212.400,00 (€ 23.916,55) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Zengshou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.120.000,00 (€ 249.480,02).
