Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Spring Mirror by Chen Yiming was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2009. It achieved a price of HKD 596,000.00 (€ 58,051.95), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chen Yiming - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Canary, which sold at auction in June 2014 for CNY 1,770,000.00 (€ 208,417.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Spring Mirror von Chen Yiming kam im April 2009 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 596.000,00 (€ 58.051,95) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Für andere Arbeiten von Chen Yiming mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Canary beobachtet, die im Juni 2014 für CNY 1.770.000,00 (€ 208.417,82) versteigert wurde.
