Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Chen Yifei achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. In the Modern Art auction, the work Portrait Of Master Field sold for HKD 275,000.00 (€ 31,303.01) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Yifei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Beauties on Promenade in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 83,350,000.00 (€ 9,106,362.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Chen Yifei erzielte im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Portrait Of Master Field für HKD 275.000,00 (€ 31.303,01) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Yifei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Beauties on Promenade im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 83.350.000,00 (€ 9.106.362,47).
