The work Green Window by Chen Yanning was sold in the Contemporary Art Asia auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2007. The result of USD 120,000.00 (€ 89,726.33) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chen Yanning - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Aureole, which sold at auction in June 2014 for CNY 2,596,000.00 (€ 305,679.47).

Die Arbeit Green Window von Chen Yanning wurde im März 2007 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 120.000,00 (€ 89.726,33) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Chen Yanning mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Aureole beobachtet, die im Juni 2014 für CNY 2.596.000,00 (€ 305.679,47) versteigert wurde.
