Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 53,775.00 (€ 3,490.61) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Chen Xiongli have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2004 the work Deer Drinking Water was auctioned for HKD 71,700.00 (€ 4,654.15).
