Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Deers by Chen Xiongli was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2004. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 41,825.00 (€ 4,213.35) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Chen Xiongli have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2004 the work Deer Drinking Water was auctioned for HKD 71,700.00 (€ 4,654.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Deers von Chen Xiongli kam im Oktober 2004 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 41.825,00 (€ 4.213,35) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Chen Xiongli konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2004 die Arbeit Deer Drinking Water für HKD 71.700,00 (€ 4.654,15) versteigert.
