Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Peony And Insects by Chen Shuren was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in October 2021. The price achieved of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 6,674.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Shuren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Snowscape in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 152,370.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Peony And Insects von Chen Shuren wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 6.674,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Shuren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Snowscape im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.480.000,00 (€ 152.370,31).
