The work Flowers and Bird by Chen Shuren was worth HKD 159,300.00 (€ 18,132.98) to a buyer in April 2019. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I at POLY and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Chen Shuren have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Snowscape in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 152,370.31).

Die Arbeit Flowers and Bird von Chen Shuren war einem Käufer im April 2019 HKD 159.300,00 (€ 18.132,98) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I bei POLY erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Shuren auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Snowscape im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.480.000,00 (€ 152.370,31).
