Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Reading Books In Autumn Moutain by Chen Shu was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2012. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,320.01). Admittedly, works by Chen Shu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of Guan Zhongji in April 2018 with an auction result of HKD 354,000.00 (€ 37,352.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Reading Books In Autumn Moutain von Chen Shu wurde im September 2012 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.320,01) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Shu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of Guan Zhongji im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 354.000,00 (€ 37.352,66).
